Step by step: charging checks

Run time depends on how hard the heater works. Dyson lists three heat settings for the Corrale: 165, 185 and 210°C (330, 365 and 410°F). The "up to 30 minutes" figure is a maximum, and higher heat draws more power, so expect less time at the top setting, especially on thick hair that needs more passes.

If you need the highest setting for a full head, plug in the cable for that session and save cord free use for touch ups. Also check that you are not leaving it idle between sections; the listing notes the Corrale switches off after 10 minutes of inactivity, so it should not drain while sitting, but repeated heat ups use charge too.
